Privacy Policy

No sign-up needed

Cofi Trend AI works without creating a profile: you can upload a photo and get a video right away. We only ask for your email when you buy videos or want to open your videos later — it is used for receipts, service notices and getting back to your videos. We do not send marketing email.

What we collect

When you create a video we store the photo you upload, the video we generate and technical logs needed to run the service. When you buy something we store the email you gave us, your orders and balance history. Payment details are handled by our payment provider (PayPal or Stripe, depending on the checkout shown); Cofi Trend AI never sees your card number.

How your photo is processed

Your photo is first checked by an automated content-safety service (OpenAI moderation). If it passes, it is submitted to our video generation provider (APIMart), which reviews it once more in its own asset library before the render starts. Both services process the photo only to make your video; APIMart keeps assets in its library for as long as its own policies say.

Storage and retention

Files are stored with our infrastructure provider in encrypted form. Uploaded photos are deleted automatically 7 days after upload and generated videos are kept for 30 days after they finish, unless you delete them sooner. Order and payment records are kept as required for tax and accounting. When you delete your data we keep only a one-way hash of your email address, so the same email cannot claim the welcome bonus twice.

Shared videos

If you share a video, anyone with the link can watch it. The share page does not show your name or email and asks search engines not to index it. To make link previews, your browser takes a still frame from the video and we store it with the video. Stopping sharing or deleting the video disables the link and deletes that image; the link also stops working when the video expires or is removed after a report.

Free preview abuse protection

If the free preview is offered, we set a first-party cookie (vv_device, kept for 1 year) so each device gets one preview. We also store a salted hash of your IP address — never the address itself — to keep the daily preview budget fair.

Safety checks

Before a photo is used it may be checked by an automated content-safety classifier. The check runs only to enforce our rules, and its result is not used for anything else. Public forms are protected by a bot-detection service that may process your IP address and browser signals.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses a few cookies and similar browser storage that it needs to work, such as your session cookie (which keeps your videos attached to this browser), the preview cookie described above and your light or dark theme preference.

We also set a first-party cookie (vt_attr, kept for 90 days) that records how you first and most recently reached us, such as a referring website or campaign link. We use it only to see which channels lead to purchases, and we do not share it with advertising networks.

If you open a friend’s invite link, we set a cookie (vt_ref, kept for up to 30 days and removed once you make your first purchase) so the invite can be credited. To prevent abuse of invite rewards, we store a salted hash of your IP address with the invite, not the address itself. Neither of you can see the other’s details.

We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of processors: cloud hosting, storage and email delivery, a video generation provider that processes your photo only for your request, a content-safety classifier, a payment provider (PayPal or Stripe).

Your data and deletion

In My videos → Settings you can export a copy of your data as JSON or delete it entirely. For sensitive actions we email you a 6-digit code and ask you to enter it first. If you have not linked an email yet, you can clear your data directly. For any other privacy request, email support@cofitrend.com.
